How would you like to protect your chests?

Right now, there are currently two ways that chests can be protected:
    • With /lock, and adding other players to each individual chest requires /lock again
    • With regions, and all chests inside the region have the same protection flags
One of the things we're brainstorming is removing the chest protection system (the one with /lock). Instead, the way that chests should be protected is by placing them in a region. This region system would be much better than the current region system, and would include adding people to the protection with just build rights, and also being able to give them more advanced rights like chest access and more. Regions would have functioning flags and subzones as well, so they'd be a great option for protecting chests. Plus, when someone is offline for 60 days, the region can be deleted without deleting the contents of a chest. This means that you won't see random protected chests floating around and Admins wouldn't have to come delete chests individually. You also wouldn't have to use /lock on every single chest that you wanted someone to be able to use, because you could just add their name to the whole region or a subzone of that region.
We'd like your feedback on which method you prefer!

Can I just clarify a few things from how I read this?
    1. When we place chests in a region they will be locked.
    2. If we add someone to the region they get building rights.
    3. A more advanced add will give them chest rights.

I'm afraid I'm still learning lingo so subzones and functioning flags are beyond my current knowledge.

My initial thoughts are - please leave things as they are.

I have a house where a friend has access to put items in 2 chests but not the third. The first 2 chests have less valuable items but the third chest is where I keep diamonds etc.

My only request would be to change the wording. Chests are automatically locked but by doing /unlock name an additional person can use the chest or /unlock all will remove the protection.
