Nope, donors will still show up like normal... It will be artificial entities disguised as the actual player. You won't notice a difference.

The only problem is that donors can't PvP with regular people. I haven't been able to make that technical part work properly yet. So if they want to PvP they'll have to log on to the non-donor server without their perks automatically activated on the donor server.

    1) So they can play together, but wont have donor perks?

    or

    2) so they can play together, but cant pvp?

Numbers help me understand things the best :)

I suggest checking that page out, then come back here with any questions you have. :)

And since the players on a donor server are actually just "ghosts" on the regular sever (not real players – the backend computer is simulating player movements as they happen on the donor server), you can't hit them or see their inventories or do things that require an actual player to be in their place.

If you want to PvP, you'll both need to be physically logged into the same IP, or the regular server. (In a PvP zone of course!)

You can, however, place a bucket of lava down at their feet. Because the backend computer syncs block places across the same world across all non-donor and donor servers, the person would be damaged on the donor server and the damage animation would show on the regular server. If they died and dropped items, the dropped items would be synced across servers too. Basically, the whole thing is seamless and you WON'T notice any difference between the previous setup and the new EULA-friendly system.
